Lino print

In this assignment we had to make 4 perfect prints, one solid color, one multi color, one with something added to it, and one thats not on paper. I created a print of a pheasant. I used pencil and sharpie to draw it and I used the cutting tools to carve the pattern into the linoleum. for elements of art I carved and drew. To add interest I tried to get as much detail as possible and I added my dads breeding business. This artwork is about giving it to my dad to represent the thing he loves which is hunting and training with bird dogs. This artwork makes me feel happy. I intend to get the print on a shirt. Next time I will make sure to realize that i can make really small details on the bird and they will still come out.
