Self Blind

The topic of the drawing is "The funny look". Originally we have to cover our eyes to make this drawing, so we were not able to see what we were doing.

We have to choose just three sharpies of different colors, cover our eyes and try to do a self portrait. In my mine I was trying to figure out where the eyes, nose and mouth were. I tried to feel the humidity of the markers so I could guide myself, but it didn't work pretty well. When I thought I was finished I uncover my eyes and this was the result. Even if the face didn't come very well, is still interesting that my drawing doesn't have a real nose and the eyes are going outside the drawing. I decided to call it "the funny look" because when I look at her with her wide eyes opened it makes me laugh.

The materials I used for the girl were just sharpies and for the background I used simple color pencils.

The structure of the drawing is centered since the girl is practically in the middle.

I was thinking to leave the background white or black, but then I realize It would look better if I use the same color that I used to draw me.
