Autumn Leaves

It's about the fallen leaves, which means autumn is coming.I made the background with water and black ink, the leaves with soft pastels and markers.

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and I really like how the leaves change from green to red, orange, yellow and brown pigments.

It's a balanced grouping drawing because we can see how the leaves are grouped into that differs points but still there is a balance in colors and contrasts.

At first i had planned to do a whole black background, but then I notice that ink also works good to create darker zone and more value. Also the leaves at first I planned to draw them with colors pencils, but when i saw how the soft pastels worked I thought the leaves would look better with th second option.
