Students must always remain on the RIS campus unless permission has been granted by a parent or guardian and approved by a residence staff member. Students leaving campus must communicate in advance regarding off-campus activities, sign out before leaving the school, and sign in immediately when returning to school. Approval will not be given for any downtown outing on a school night unless for a school-related activity, such as a university information session.
During the week, students are allowed off campus only after school finishes at 2:40 p.m. to go to the local 7-11 or in or around Perfect Place. Students must return to Residence by 5:30 p.m. for dinner.
Students must immediately communicate with residence staff members about any plan changes.
LEAVING CAMPUS DURING SCHOOL DAYS
Students must always remain on the RIS campus unless permission has been granted by a parent or guardian and approved by a residence staff member. Students leaving campus must communicate in advance regarding off-campus activities, sign out before leaving the school, and sign in immediately when returning to school.

Students must immediately communicate with residence staff members about any plan changes.
Permission to leave campus is required from a Residence staff member. When students intend to leave campus, parental permission is requested by email. Students must sign out to indicate when they plan to go and their expected return time if permitted. Ultimately, the Residence staff decide whether a student is allowed to participate in an off-campus activity, depending on the circumstances.
Every second Wednesday, a van takes students to the local grocery store for necessities. A minimum of five students is required for the trip. Sign-ups begin on Monday.
For weekends, all-day, and overnight outings, permission from parents will be required. 24-hour advance notice is requested so that staff can plan accordingly. With parental consent, students can go downtown with friends. All students must return to the Residence by 9:30 pm on Sunday evenings. If a student goes out on a Friday evening or Saturday for the day, they need to return to Residence no later than 10:00 pm. If a student is running late, they must call or message a houseparent.
Specified return times must be respected, and students should allow enough time for slow Bangkok traffic. Staff can deny subsequent weekend leave requests if a student disobeys these return times. Staff must have the contact information for each student (usually via LINE or G-Chat). School rules apply to any outing for RIS.
