CLEANING & LAUNDRY

Our cleaning staff clean the Residence building and student rooms daily. Students should let them know if any area in their room or the building needs special attention. When leaving your room, please tidy the area and take all belongings with you.

Any laundry to be done on campus requires a form that accurately indicates the number of clothing items in the basket. This form is required for washing and will be checked. If completed properly, laundry can be dropped off at the laundry room the night before by 9:30 p.m. Clothes will be returned cleaned and folded by the end of the same day.

Each student is assigned a laundry basket and a number. All clothing should be clearly labeled with the student’s laundry number so items can be returned correctly. Laundry days are scheduled as follows: boys—Monday, Wednesday, Friday; girls—Tuesday, Thursday.

Students should check their baskets in the afternoon. If anything is missing, Residence staff must be informed immediately so the issue can be resolved. Likewise, if an extra item is found in a basket, students should notify staff right away to return it to the correct person.

MAINTENANCE REQUESTS

Students must immediately report any facility maintenance concerns, such as air conditioning or plumbing issues in their rooms. For smaller requests—like a new clock battery or a screen door repair—students may also use the whiteboard in the common room.
