- Strengthen reading-related skills (comprehension, critical thinking, written and creative expression, digital literacy, etc.) and cultivate reading appreciation thought relevant, current, and provocative texts.
- Develop empathy, resilience, and social acumen through reading, analyzing, discussing, and connecting with varying texts (screenplay, novel, speeches, articles, poetry, music, film, podcasts, etc.).
- Establish a collaborative, personalized, and safe environment that explores individual voices in a changing society.
