English 2

The English 2 thematic units guide students through literature and informational texts as they consider the technology of destiny on their lives, the amount of control they have over their own destinies, and what it means to connect and empathize with other people.

Students will build their writing skills by working in their writer’s notebooks in class each day. Students will also complete formal essays at the end of each unit, including a literary analysis essay, a narrative essay, an argumentative essay, and an informative essay.
