English 2

The English 2 Thematic Units take students through literature and informational texts that discuss how much control we, as well as technology, exert over our lives, and what we share and gain when we interact with others. 

Students will improve their writing skills by engaging in low-stakes writing in class every day. Extended writing assignments for the year include Literary Analysis essay, Informative essay, Argumentative Essay, Rhetoric Essay and Narrative (story) writing.
