AP Literature and Composition is a college-level course designed for students who wish to engage deeply with works of fiction, poetry, and drama from various periods and cultures. Through close reading, analytical writing, and thoughtful discussion, students explore how authors use literary elements and techniques to convey meaning and evoke emotional and intellectual responses.
In this course, students will develop their skills in literary analysis, critical thinking, and evidence-based writing. They will examine complex themes, interpret nuanced language, and craft well-organized essays that demonstrate insight and precision.
