English Language Development 

English Language Development (ELD) is a course designed to help students improve their English skills. In this class, students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing every day according to the California ELD Standards. Class activities will consist of online curriculum, grammar exercises, reading for vocabulary acquisition, class conversations, and a variety of practical projects to increase English comprehension. Ultimately the goal is to build confidence, community, and ensure student success academically and in their personal endeavors. Our four units will encourage students to practice language through the themes: self, future, independence, and community.
