The hottest currency in the Swampland!

Dear parents, students, and school community:
This past week confirmed my suspicions that our quality opening days of school will be more of the norm than just a honeymoon phase at the beginning of the year! With a full week under our belt, the faculty and staff project a banner year from our students in all areas!
Thank you for showing up BIG TIME on Thursday at our Open House! Representatives of our PTSA and School Improvement Council will be reaching out to those of you who expressed interest in being involved in academic and fundraising efforts as members of our school community. Likewise, those of you that left your business information with the hopes of serving as a business partner will receive communication on that process as well.
Three quick reminders about the car riders:
Please hold your children in your vehicles until you HEAR the announcement that all personnel are in place to supervise the students. In the high majority of cases, we will be ready to receive students promptly at 7:45 am, but in the rare occasion that we are not, we must have students in the eyesight of responsible adults, which would mean you for a short period time. Thank you for your patience and understanding that safety ALWAYS comes first!
If you are dropping off or picking up multiple students, please use our car pool lot. It will help alleviate the congestion on Mt Gallant Road.
If you use the main line, stay in your lane and exit campus on the same side that you dropped off your child. Cutting line adds to the congestion and the frustration of those who have patiently waited their turn in line. As adults, we are the ultimate models of our children's behaviors, so let's do things the right way so that our children follow our great examples!
If you have any questions, concerns, or needs, we are a phone call, email, or visit away! Have a great week! GO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
