Congratulations, Gamecock fans!
Nothing but class and respect from this #AllIn Tiger fan!
Dear parents, students, and school community:
I trust that you had a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving break! December is here and the final push of the second semester is upon us. Let's be sure to monitor our progress in all classes closely because the nine weeks will be over before you know it.
This week, winter sports begin with basketball on Monday vs Rawlinson Road (Girls at home), wrestling hosting Saluda Trail and Castle Heights on Tuesday and basketball vs Sullivan on Thursday (Boys at home). Also, this week holds several opportunities for students to dress down. Students that did not receive an office referral in November have earned a Dress Down Day on Wednesday. The 7th graders earned an additional Dress Down Day on Thursday for donating the most canned food items during the Beta Club Food Drive. And all students can earn a Dress Down Day on Friday as well by supporting the Media Center's Beanstack fundraiser with a $1 donation!
We have a busy week ahead of us. Let's start December off well by having a #RockSolid week at The Creek! GO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton

ST-ARTS stands for “Special Talents in the ARTS”. It is comprised of a summer workshop from June 2-20 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Winthrop University.
Students currently in grades 6-8 are eligible to audition in music (voice or instrumental), dance, drama, and visual art. ST-ARTS is hosted by Winthrop University. Feel free to visit the ST-ARTS website for more information for parents and students about the ST-ARTS program. While transportation is provided to the auditions if needed, transportation to the summer program is the responsibility of the parent. It is important for parents to stay informed on the expectations for students in the ST-ARTS program. Please review the ST-ARTS Handbook. You can also find Rock Hill Schools information about ST-ARTS by visiting the Rock Hill Schools district website. Students who auditioned and were accepted previously and are still in middle school are eligible to attend. If your child attended ST-ARTS last year, you will receive an email asking you to confirm that your child intends to participate again in this year's ST-ARTS program. Please review the dates carefully. This program has limited participation. If you cannot commit to the full program dates, please allow another student the opportunity to participate.
Our students are working hard to incorporate the habits on a daily basis. This week students are focused on creating meaningful relationships!
Learning Standards: Learners will be able to determine the "currency" of others and describe how to utilize meaningful deposits to build and strengthen relationships. Learners will be able to practice personal accountability through perseverance toward challenging goals. Learners will be able t0 develop individual Emotional Bank Account practices or systems to help others feel valued, trusted, and welcome.

Whether it is volunteering to help with after school clubs and competition or cheering wildly in the stands as fans, we understand the importance of supporting each other inside and outside of the classroom! We are unapologetically PROUD to be Dutchman Creek Gators! Gooooooo Gators!!!
As a National School to Watch, we understand the importance of quality Organizational Structures and Processes!
Several of our Beta Club members took a few moments out of their holiday weekend to volunteer and the HOPE of Rock Hill Food Pantry. Members sorted and organized over 38,000 pounds of food. We Lead by Serving Others. Way to go Betas!!
Leading Ladies @the Creek learned about business branding from Ms. Nelson, a digital design creator. The girls are excited about working on projects to build their business brand and are looking forward to future work.
The young ladies also discussed their brand as students. How do you show up as a student, a friend, or a person? Is your brand HONESTY, KINDNESS, STUDIOUS, and much more?
