Let's keep the "Main Thing" the main thing!
Dear parents, students, and school community:
Thank you for a great week last week! We closed out March well and began the month of April with great promise! With Spring Break is in sight, it can be tempting to look too far ahead, which takes our focus off of the things in front of us. What is clearly in front of us can easily be overlooked, causing us to stumble and even fall. It is imperative that we keep our eyes trained on each obstacle directly in front of us to ensure an easier path to our final destination!
A special shout-out to those of you who provided valuable feedback by way of the state School Climate Survey! A whooping 98.6% of our students completed the survey, giving us great confidence in the data outcomes. As promised the grade level with the highest participation rate earned an additional dress down day. Congratulations to the 7th graders, who barely beat the 6th graders with 97.8% participation to their 97.1% participation! Your dress down day will be determined soon and announced later this week!
Be sure to note the many upcoming items on the calendar. This is an extremely busy part of the school year, so we thank you in advance for your continued efforts in making Dutchman Creek a special place to grow and develop! Let's have another #RockSolid week at The Creek! GO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
