Greeting the upcoming members of Gator Nation at Rising 6th Grade Night!
Dear parents, students, and school community:
Thank you for your focus and attention last week. This week, we will administer Quarter 3 District Benchmark Assessments in math, ELA, science, and social studies. Remeasuring our progress helps us to strategize how to give our students the best opportunity to do well on our state assessments in May. We have high expectations for ourselves and our students and plan to do whatever it takes to optimize all efforts.
This week, Spring Sports begin with softball opening their season at home vs Rawlinson Road on Monday and on the road vs Sullivan on Wednesday. and the first flag football games in school history at home on Friday! Speaking of Friday, there is no school on Friday, so enjoy the day off and plan to come out to the flag football games later that evening!
Thank you for your continued efforts in making Dutchman Creek a special place to grow and develop! Let's have another #RockSolid week at The Creek! GO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
As a National School to Watch, we demonstrate Academic Excellence!
The DCMS Academic Challenge Team concluded a very successful season at the regional meet! Congratulations to the students and sponsors Mrs. Rollings and Mrs. Knowles! You all made Gator Nation proud!
The Gator Coffee crew visited Knowledge Perk for a hands-on tour of the coffee house. Knowledge Perk and the Foundation of Rock Hill Schools funded a grant to turn Gator Coffee from a vision to a reality! We appreciate their partnership and support!
Whether it is volunteering to help with after school clubs and competition or cheering wildly in the stands as fans, we understand the importance of supporting each other inside and outside of the classroom! We are unapologetically PROUD to be Dutchman Creek Gators! Gooooooo Gators!!!
Parents, we are soliciting your continued support! We are in the process of planning for several events, and would appreciate your donations.
Teacher Appreciation Breakfast is Monday, May 5th, 2025. Please consider signing up to contribute to this breakfast, just use the QR code! Thank you :)
Testing days can be very stressful for students and teachers. We would like to have snacks on hand for teachers since they are unable to leave their room until testing is complete each day. Please sign up to bring in Testing Day snacks which run the course of multiple days. The QR code will bring you directly to the signup. Thank you, again!Â
Parents, remember you can access parent portal to review students' attendance and grades. Access the portal here
For PowerSchool questions, email: askpowerschool@rhmail.org
A reminder that Q3 ends this week! Please encourage students to finish strong and review any missing assignments.Â
Parents, you can observe your students to monitor student assignments and grades, as well as to receive important announcements from your child's team. If you already have an account, nothing has changed. If you need to login or set up an account, access canvas here. To see directions for setting up a Parent Observer Account, see the directions here. For pairing code, please contact your child's team teachers or Mrs. Rainey at AMRainey@rhmail.org
Students will be focusing on their Q3 benchmark this week. They will continue to exhibit the LiM qualities and we encourage families to continue this work at home as well!
