Mr. Johnson and The GNP...tWINning!
#GoGators💚🖤🐊
Dear parents, students, and school community:
It is hard to believe, but the final week is here and another school year is coming to an end. It has been an AMAZING ride overall and this week, we get to celebrate our students and their achievements! It is my hope that your experience has been a magical one. It is the honor of a lifetime to be your GNP this year and I cannot thank you enough for allowing my staff and me to grow and develop such a talented group of students!
If I do not see you this week, I wish you the very best heading into the summer months. For my rising 9th graders, show your high schools the Gator Grit that will make you one of the best graduating classes four years from now. To my rising 8th graders, take time to refresh over the summer and prepare to lead the way next year. And to my rising 7th graders, you will serve as the primary influencers of our newest Gators in 6th grade next year! Our future rests on your mighty shoulders!
On a much more personal note, as a proud husband and a father, I want to thank you for being a part of my village. My wife and I are extremely proud parents of two fine young men. Our youngest will graduate on Friday with the other amazing seniors across our district. Even when you saw me donning my Stallion colors in predominately Trojan and Bearcat territory and exchanged some fun banter and trash talk as a result, Gator Nation has been very understanding and respectful of what being a father and husband meant to me and for that, my entire family owe you all a tremendous debt of gratitude! We are blessed to soon have TWO in college! Your continued support and prayers are much appreciated!
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Gator Nation, thank you for a great school year! Stay safe and well and let's have a great final week of the school year at The Creek! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Gator Nation students, staff, and community members!
Thank you to Alex Miller for choosing to improve our recreational space as his Eagle Scout project by refreshing our four-square courts and constructing a new Ga Ga pit for students to enjoy!
Congratulations to Michael and Ali for winning the drawing for some fresh new kicks from a pool of students that showed growth on MAP in math! And congratulations to the 7th grade math teachers for driving the most growth overall across the school!
The Gator Coffee Shop was a huge success! UP1 students marketed and provided excellent products to the staff with exceptional customer service!
Several 2024 high school seniors visited The Creek for a final walk through the hallways of their former middle school prior to their upcoming graduation!
The annual 8th grade formal brought out the stars! The students and staff had a great time! A special thank you to all of our 8th grade parents who sent in donations and volunteered their time to make this event a success!
The end of EOCs calls for a brain break!
Episode 13: Meet Mr. Johnson!
