From the Desk of Principal Moton
Dear parents, students, and school community:
The countdown to Spring Break officially begins this week. We have three full days for students on Monday through Wednesday and an early release day on Thursday. There is no school for students or staff beginning Friday, the first day of Spring Break for everybody!
Although the week is short, we must ensure that everyday is used to get better. Let's maintain the focus needed to continue our strides towards success.
Enjoy this week's newsletter and take particular note of the calendar of events. Remember, every day is important so we will make each day count as we grow and develop LEADERS at The Creek, one learner at a time! Stay safe and healthy and have a great week and if I do not see you before Friday, have a fantastic Spring Break! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton

Spring break can be a great time for students to relax, recharge, and also make productive use of their time. Check out some of these tips for students over spring break:
Rest and rejuvenate: Take the opportunity to catch up on sleep and allow your body and mind to recharge. A break from the usual routine can do wonders for your overall well-being.
Plan ahead: If you have assignments or test coming up after the break, use this time to plan your study schedule. Organize your materials, make a study plan, and set realistic goals for what you want to accomplish.
Explore new interests: Use spring break to try out new hobbies or activities that you've been wanting to pursue. Whether it's painting, cooking, hiking, or learning a new language, use this time to explore your passions and interests outside of academics.
Travel: If you have the means and opportunity, consider traveling during spring break. Exploring new places can be both educational and rejuvenating. Whether it's a road trip with friends or a solo adventure to a new city, traveling can provide valuable experiences and memories.
Volunteer: Consider spending some of your spring break volunteering for a cause you care about. Whether it's helping out at a local shelter, participating in a community clean-up project, or volunteering at a food bank, giving back to your community can be a fulfilling way to spend your time.
Stay active: Take advantage of the warmer weather by getting outdoors and staying active. Go for a hike, bike ride, or play sports with friends. Exercise is not only good for your physical health but also for reducing stress and improving your mood.
Catch up on reading: Spring break can be a great time to catch up on leisure reading. Whether it's fiction, non-fiction, or something related to your field of study, use this time to indulge in books that interest you.
Reflect on your goals: Take some time to reflect on your academic and personal goals. Are you on track to achieve them? What steps can you take to stay focused and motivated for the rest of the semester? Use this time to reevaluate your priorities and make any necessary adjustments to your plans.
Connect with friends and family: Use spring break as an opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family. Whether it's catching up over a meal, going on outings together, or simply enjoying each other's company at home, nurturing your relationships can help you feel supported and connected.
Practice self-care: Finally, prioritize self-care during spring break. Whether it's through meditation, yoga, journaling, or simply taking time to relax and do things that bring you joy, make sure to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being during this time off.
Remember, spring break is a valuable opportunity to rest, recharge, and focus on your personal growth and well-being. Make the most of it by finding a balance between relaxation and productivity, and coming back refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the semester.
