I "sharpened my saw"!
#GoGators💚🖤🐊
Dear parents, students, and school community:
What an exciting week at The Creek! I continue to marvel at our ability to approach each challenge with confidence and intentionality. Our collective efforts are really paying off for the benefit of our kids.
Last week, we hosted our rising 6th graders from across 12 of the 14 district elementary schools to give them a sneak peak at life in Gator Nation. Also, several 7th graders traveled to Washington, DC and enjoyed the sights and sounds of our nation's capital. We are thankful that they had a great time and returned home safely.
This week is a short week for students. Friday is a professional learning day for staff and a day off for students. We look forward to benchmark testing for Quarter 3. Students are reminded to do their best, which allows teachers to customize their instruction to meet their needs better. We have softball and track competing at home on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, be sure to join us for Math and Science Night. We will have food, fellowship, and fun put on by our math and science departments! We wrap up the week with our theatre arts shows on Friday and Saturday evening along with the Student Council Vendor earlier on Saturday.
Enjoy this week's newsletter and take particular note of the calendar of events. Remember, every day is important so we will make each day count as we grow and develop LEADERS at The Creek, one learner at a time! Stay safe and healthy and have a great week! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
