#GoGators💚🖤🐊
Dear parents, students, and school community:
An epic week at The Creek last week! If you recall, we had something big going on every day of last week. Our students and teachers rose well above expectations and wrote an incredible five days into the history book of Gator Nation! Read all about it in this week's newsletter!
This week is a short week for students with them being out on Thursday and Friday while the staff engages in professional development and other work to build upon our success. Also, the entire campus is off on Monday for President's Day.
Although we only work directly with students three days this week, let's be sure to make each day count! Stay safe and healthy, and here's to another great week at The Creek! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Gator Nation students, staff, and community members!
Congratulations to Coach Armstrong and our 8th grade girls basketball team for winning the conference championship, matching their 7th grade title to finish their middle school careers as back to back champions!
Congratulations, Gators!!!
Our 8th grade boys finished conference tournament runner-ups. We appreciate the efforts of Coach Tyson as he worked extremely hard to coach and mentor our boys, who fell one game short of the championship title.
Great season, Gators!
In between hard work, the staff was treated to an ice cream social, courtesy of our friends at Lakewood Baptist!
THANK YOU!!!!
The 8th grade teachers enjoyed a breakfast prior to their work, courtesy of the good people at Pop's Cafe!
THANK YOU!!!!

8th graders attended the HBCU College Fair at the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center on Thursday and learned about lots of exciting post high school opportunities available for all students!
Gators tripled the attendance of all of the other middle schools present...combined! Lots of pictures in the Gator Vision section at the end of the newsletter! Thank you, Mrs. Funderburk for taking the lead and organizing this event to provide a valuable experience and exposure for our 8th graders! Another thank you to our 8th grade teachers that served as chaperones and those that provided learning experiences to students who stayed at the Creek!
Whether it is volunteering to help with after school clubs and competition or cheering wildly in the stands as fans, the faculty and staff understand the importance of supporting our students in and outside of the classroom! We are unapologetically PROUD to be Dutchman Creek Gators!
