Ran into my podcast co-host Ethan volunteering downtown at ChristmasVille!Â
Dear parents, students, and school community:
As hard as it is to believe, it's December...the final month of 2023 portion of the school year. We have a few weeks left in Quarter 2, which also ends the first semester of the school year. As we approach the holiday season and anticipate the fun and festivities to come, we must balance this with a steadfast focus on our academic growth and development.Â
Enjoy this week's newsletter and note all of the upcoming events. This week is full of opportunities to support our Gators after school with concerts and athletic events. We need and appreciate your support!
Let's all have a great week at The Creek! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Gator Nation students, staff, and community members!
The DCMS Art Showcase gave Gator Nation families the opportunity to enjoy the talents of Mrs. Moore's, Mr. Laval's and Mrs. Armstrong's students! There are additional opportunities to view the art displays Monday and Tuesday of this week.Â
Mr. Ellison's band students put on a show to be remembered before a HUGE crowd of families and supporters!
The administrators provided cheers and treats for the staff to cap off a hard-working week!
The holiday season is quickly approaching!!!
The DCMS school counselors will again be hosting the Gator Giving Tree!!
Approximately 10 students have been identified from each grade level to receive gifts.
Each student will receive a clothing related gift and a "fun" gift...with an approximate value of $25.
If you would like to provide a gift(s) for a student...you may select an ornament from the Gator Giving Tree website. If you have any questions, please contact one of the grade level counselors.Â
Wrapped gifts are due back by December 13th with a sticky note attached identifying the ornament you selected.
