6 year Gatorversary gift from Mr. Laval and the "Good Morning, Gators!" crew!
#GoGators💚🖤🐊
Dear parents, students, and school community:
Another great week at The Creek! We close out the month of January this week and look forward to carrying our momentum into the month of February.
On a personal note, I celebrated my 6th year Gatorversary this past Friday. Being trusted to be the principal of Dutchman Creek represents the highlight of my professional career, a position that I consider myself extremely blessed to hold. I cannot begin to tell you how much I have grown professionally and personally over the years, but in reflection, I am proud of the amazing things we have accomplished over that period of time and most importantly, I am grateful for the patience and support of Gator Nation as we continue to grow and develop together!
Father Time is undefeated so let's be sure to make each day count! Stay safe and healthy, and let's have another great week! GOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS!
Yours in service,
Principal Clayton B. Moton
Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate our Gator Nation students, staff, and community members!
Congratulations to the Academic Challenge Team for their big win over York Middle School by the score of 37-18! Gooooooooo Gators!
ESOL teacher Mrs. Vanstrien was featured in the York Extra section of the South Carolina Living magazine for her project "Cultural Books for Multilingual Students"!
Congratulations from Gator Nation, Mrs. Vanstrien!!!
Inspired by the powerful pre-match speech by 8th grader Mathew Martinez, our Gators competed well and several captured medals at the YCMSAC Season Tournament! The team finished runner-up in the conference!
Great job, Gators!
Conference medalists!
Conference Champions!
Joseph Khaled and Kyan Baxter
The 7th grade basketball teams completed their seasons as the boys team finished 5th in the conference after defeating York. The girls finished 2nd in the conference after battling Oakridge in one of the most exciting championship games in recent memory. Oakridge prevailed by the score of 19-18, but our Gators will definitely use this as fuel as they prepare to take the tournament title next year!
Great job, Gators!
