Revolution Brewing supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. In keeping with this philosophy, the company has established a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. If you are a full-time, regular employee and have completed 90 days of employment, you are eligible for participation in this program as long as the courses are job-related.
The company will reimburse 80% of the cost, up to a maximum of $1,000 per year, incurred by an employee for continuing education through an accredited program. The program must offer growth in an area related to your current position or potentially lead to promotional opportunities.
This education may include college credit courses, continuing education unit courses, seminars, and certification tests. You must secure a passing grade of “B” (or its equivalent) or obtain a certification to receive reimbursement. Expenses must be validated by receipts, along with a copy of the final grade card or statement of recognition for hours or certification received.
To receive tuition reimbursement, employees should follow the procedures listed here:
You must complete the Employee Education Request Form with details on the class, pricing, and timing.
The HR committee will review the forms on a quarterly basis and approve based on relation to current or future role, budget constraints, and business needs. If the class begins before the end of the quarter, please email the HR Manager so we can review in a timely manner.
Once approved, you can then enroll in the course (if relying on reimbursement). If denied for budget or business reasons, your next request will receive priority if another request is made within the following year (if that request meets the remaining criteria).
After completing the course, you will submit the course receipts, evidence of a passing grade or certification, and any approved travel expenses to HR by emailing roma@revbrew.com all applicable documents.
The HR department will then coordinate and submit the reimbursement with the accounting department.
Any questions or comments should be directed to the HR department. The Employee Education Reimbursement form is also located in the HR Employee Center on the Google Drive, under Policies.
