AmeriCorps Swag! 2019-20 gear has been shipped and delivered to your campus. You will each receive a lanyard, tumbler, and clipboard. AmeriCorps members are required to sport the “big A” while performing service. Please wear the lanyard or use your clipboard daily. January 20, 2020, marks the 25th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service, celebrating the Civil Rights leader’s life and legacy. Dr. King believed in a nation of freedom and justice for all, and encouraged all citizens to live up to the purpose and potential of America by applying the principles of nonviolence. MLK Day of Service is a way to honor his life and teachings by engaging in community action that continues to solve social problems. Service breaks down barriers by bringing people from different experiences together to build stronger communities. Look out for your AmeriCorps Mid-Year Evaluation coming your way through DocuSign in February. This evaluation will capture your mid-year progress as an AmeriCorps. You simply need to review and e-sign.
