April 2020

Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month!  Usually, if the school building was open we would be doing lots of poetry related tasks in the library.  Since we were not able to be together this April you all stepped up and brought the poetry to all of us through Ram Poetry!  Check out all the amazing poems that were submitted on our collaborative padlet below!

11th Grade Research Paper

This year the 11th grade English research paper introduction was a little different this year. Typically all of Mrs. Wright's classes would be in the library beginning to research two different authors to determine which one is the most relevant for today's society.  Instead of that full week the 11th graders were given the opportunity to join Mrs. Wright and myself for a Zoom meeting to get started on the paper.  I presented those that attended with information on the best library resources and databases to use and how to use them so that they can begin research.  Hopefully they are all working diligently and will have an amazing paper to turn into Mrs. Wright soon!
