Agency Responsibilities
Thank you for partnering with the Center for Teacher Innovation (CTI) to provide Induction for your agency’s new teacher. CTI is a unit within Riverside County Office of Education's (RCOE) School of Education. RCOE is the induction program sponsor accredited by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to offer the Teacher Induction Program. Partnering agencies play a vital role in the success of the induction candidate.
CTI looks forward to supporting you in this partnership. Below please find the responsibilities and expectations as a CTI Induction partnering agency. Please contact your CTI program manager if you have any questions or concerns.
Identify and enroll eligible candidates for induction.
Select and hire reflective coaches in accordance with CTC standards.
Enroll reflective coaches in CTI Navigate.
Match candidates to coaches within 30 days of orientation.
Attend 3 Agency Representative Meetings each program year to engage with critical program information and updates.
Communicate regularly with your CTI program manager.
Assist in providing information about the program to site and district leadership.
Involve site administrators in the system of support for the candidate.
Schedule orientation and colloquium dates with your CTI program manager.
Provide reflective coaches with the opportunity to attend required coach training.
Provide candidates and coaches with opportunities to meet and observe.
Notify CTI as soon as possible if a candidate or reflective coach is taking a leave of absence or is no longer in the program.
Facilitate the execution of all fiscal documents including the memorandum of understanding and the payment of the invoice.
