Statutory Requirements
Some candidates have additional CTC statutory requirements that must be met for a clear credential in addition to completion of an induction program. CTC makes this determination during their credential application assessment based on the applicant’s credential preparation route and California credential standards. Renewal codes will appear on the California credential.
CTI Credential Care Services will review each candidate’s credential renewal codes. Candidates with additional requirements will receive an email from CTI Credential Care Services after completing the enrollment process outlining their statutory requirements and options for completion.
This information will appear on the CTI Navigate Completion Status Report. Please note that the initial credential profile may take a few weeks after enrollment to appear.
Information on completion options and verifications for additional CTC statutory requirements can be found on the Credential Care Services resources page at https://induction.ctijourney.org/credential-services/. Candidates should review only the sections that appear in the Credential Profile of their Candidate Summary Report and submit verifications to CTI prior to requesting a clear credential.
Successful completion of all induction program requirements and applicable Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) statutory credential requirements will lead to a clear credential recommendation for eligible induction candidates with an authorized credential.
