Admissions Process (Partnering Agencies)
All inquiries by prospective partnering agencies should be forwarded to the recruitment administrator. The recruitment administrator will follow up regarding details about the process to become an official partnering agency that offers the CTI Teacher Induction Program.
Prospective partnering agency will be contacted by the recruitment administrator via phone and/or email, and will be asked to complete the CTI Online Interest form.
Prospective partnering agency representative(s) attend a CTI partnering agency orientation facilitated by the recruitment administrator. Date will be determined by the prospective partnering agency.
Prospective partnering agency completes the online Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) form to be utilized by the fiscal administrator in generating the MOU.
The fiscal administrator provides the prospective partnering agency with the MOU to review and sign.
Prospective partnering agency returns the signed MOU and is then contacted by the fiscal administrator regarding becoming an official partnering agency.
Partnering agency meets with the online administrator to be introduced to the program manager and begin the process of enrolling candidates in induction.
Partnering agency teacher candidates undergo a credential assessment and program placement verification by CTI staff within three weeks. A candidate completion status report will be created in CTI Navigate for each enrolled candidate to monitor requirements throughout the program. Candidates with additional CTC requirements will be notified.
Admissions Process for Private Pay Candidates
Teachers not employed with one of our partnering agencies may participate in the CTI Induction program as a private pay candidate if they meet eligibility requirements.
When program year placement (Year 1, Year 2, ECO) has been determined, the individual is asked to make an admission deposit securing a place in the program. A contract (MOU) is issued to the individual offering payment plan choices. When the MOU is signed and returned to CTI, the individual will complete the admissions process.
Below are the admission steps for a self-pay candidate into the CTI Induction Program:
All inquiries by prospective private pay candidates will be forwarded to the recruitment administrator. The recruitment administrator will follow up regarding details about the enrollment process into the CTI Teacher Induction Online Program.
The recruitment administrator provides an email to the prospective candidate with a link to the online enrollment application which includes a program overview and a direct connection to a Zoom/phone conversation.
Prospective candidate submits online enrollment application, and the recruitment administrator notifies candidate of application receipt.
Recruitment administrator notifies credential and fiscal administrators of application receipt.
Credential team determines eligibility: credential assessment, placement, and requests previous experience documentation (if applicable). Program placement in Year 1, Year 2 or Early Completion Option (ECO). Early Completion Option candidates provide experience documentation to CTI.
Prospective candidate is then contacted by the fiscal administrator to submit deposit and payment plan (MOU) to secure placement in the program.
After the payment plan is signed and returned to the fiscal administrator, the prospective candidate is informed they are an official candidate for induction and they attend a CTI orientation facilitated by the online administrator. Date will be determined by the CTI online administrator.
