1. Rhenish Church Grace School Development Fund
The mission of Rhenish Church Grace School is to provide students with quality holistic education, help them develop their potential, and enable them to integrate into society and make contributions. Blessed by the Lord, and with the efforts of all teachers and students, as well as the support of parents, we are pleased to see the continuous development of the school. In recent years, rapid social changes, education reforms, and shifts in family structures have increased the demand for special education. Relying solely on government funding or external funding applications is insufficient to meet the school's future development needs.
The school has established the "Rhenish Church Grace School Development Fund" (hereinafter referred to as the "Fund") to allow stakeholders and outside supporters to contribute to the school's various development needs. The details of the school's development needs that the Fund can support are as follows:
1.Optimization of School Premises and Facilities
The school has grown from 4 classes to 13 classes, and the existing premises and equipment are no longer sufficient. Additionally, the aging of the school facilities has increased maintenance expenses, and some renovation projects have been hindered or even suspended due to a lack of funding. The continuously rising maintenance costs have also added financial pressure on the school. Therefore, the Fund is needed to support both equipment and premises renovation, enabling us to keep up with the times and provide students with a better learning environment.
2.Development of Teaching and Learning
To adapt to social changes and the learning and growth needs of students, the school must continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning, introduce new learning models, and develop appropriate curricula. This includes thematic teaching, simulated scenario learning, creative activities, and career planning education. Students will benefit from more diversified practical and experiential opportunities, making learning more effective. Related plans will also require training and professional development for teaching staff. These developments necessitate additional resources, and it is hoped that the Fund can be used to promote teaching and learning initiatives at the school.
3.Student Development
The school's mission has always been to help students realize their potential. Students with special learning needs require additional resources to develop their capabilities and affirm their self-worth. Beyond the general resources provided by the Education Bureau, the school is committed to investing more in learning resources, equipment, and opportunities for students. This includes acquiring new equipment, hiring tutors for student development, and organizing other beneficial activities. The support of the Fund is essential for these plans, ensuring that students can overcome obstacles and fully demonstrate their potential.
4.Student Subsidies/Assistance
The school is deeply concerned about the living conditions of students and their families and has always maintained close contact with parents. If the school becomes aware of any special needs or difficulties faced by individual students or families, it is willing to provide appropriate assistance, including financial, material, or other feasible forms of support. The school will also use the Fund to directly subsidize certain activities or learning projects in order to alleviate the economic difficulties or pressures faced by individual student families.
