This is Moren doing her usual crouch while coaching.

And your head coach Teri Moren! The IU women's basketball coach Teri Moren was named the winningest coach in IU women's history. Teri Moren is a loving, kind, and tough basketball coach for the Indiana women's basketball team. Coach is entering her 10th season with the IU women's basketball team.  Teri Moren has brought many fans to Simon Skodjt's assembly hall. Here is what Mrs. Musselwhite -who is related to the coach because of Mr. Musselwhite- has to say about coach Moren: “She builds a strong foundation because, in her ten-year tenure, she has taken a mediocre team and set them up to be NCAA contenders. She is very good at what she does and creates amazing relationships with her staff and players.” now Mr. Musselwhite has to say, “Coach Moren's grandmother and my grandmother were cousins.  So when she got the job at IU my family and I got season tickets that first year and have gone to almost every home game ever since.”

Let's talk about Moren’s past a bit more. Teri grew up in Seymour rooting for Indiana. After graduating from Purdue and earning her bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, she started coaching at Butler in 1992-93 as an assistant coach for six years. Then after coaching the Bulldogs, Moren spent two years as an assistant at Northwestern. Moren began her head coaching career at Indiana State in 2000, she continued that for seven years then in 2014 she began coaching at Indiana University and still is.

Teri cut off the last of the net when they got BIG ten champs last year.

Teri probably explaining something to a player.

Let's talk about her biggest accomplishments. Moren won a conference championship in 2013–14, two post-season appearances in the WNIT, and guided six players to earn All-MVC honors. Coach has won 382–219 games. That's A lot! Coach has a lot of big achievements and we can't wait for her to get many more. Now we will talk about just her career at IU… Teri Moren came to Indiana University (IU) in 2014 becoming the new head coach of the team. She has put in 9 almost 10 hard seasons of work with the woman. Coach has brought the women to win more than they lose. Some games are close and some are not but no matter what coach always has a plan Every time, no matter what's going on in a player's life expects them to step on the court and give it all they have. That shows the kind of coach Teri Moren is. A kind but hard coach. Her players adore her and so does her fan base.

Now let us talk about her family life. Dick Moren, the father of Teri Moren, the Indiana women’s basketball coach, is the team’s No. 1 fan. She grew up with her parents Barbara Moren -who sadly passed away in October of 2014 just 2 months after teri accepted her position at IU. Teri grew up with a sister named Lee Lee in Seymour Indiana. She also grew up with a brother Andrew. But Teri has no kids and is currently single. Teri Moren’s dad has been with her throughout her career as a coach. Her sister has also been a big supporter. Teri makes 1.3 million dollars in compensation. In total, in 10 years the coach of the IU women's b-ball team has made 13 million dollars in compensation. Teri bonds with her team very well and they even nominated her AP coach of the year in 2023. The coach was named the winningest coach in IU women's history.

These are just a few ways teri has accomplished her dreams. From her start in high school as a player and now her being the head coach of a college team.
