The Super Bowl is underway with Patrick Mahomes and Brock Perdy leading the way to a victory. Both teams have been working hard to get to where they are now. The 49ers are favored by San Francisco by 1.5 points. The over/under is 47.5 points at the NFL games. Of the experts in this poll, 52 have the game going over that total, while 12 like the under. The San Francisco 49ers are ranked 7th among all NFL clubs in our team guide. The Superbowl this year is held in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium. 6:30 is when the games begin, between the 49ers and the Chiefs.

Austin Bomgardener, a 6th grader at EJHS said this about the game. “I prefer the 49ers because they are a better team overall than the Chiefs, and if I could change the teams they would choose the 49ers and the Ravens.” The 49ers sit alone in NFL history for most playoff wins (38), having been in the league playoffs 30 times (29 times in the NFL and one time in the AAFC). The students were shocked that the 49ers were favored but came up short 22-25 in the end. Chad Musslewhite a 6th grade math teacher at EJHS said this, “ I think that the 49ers will win the superbowl because of their technique.”

With the rush of the game, Mahomes didn’t see Kelce in the corner of the field in the first quarter. The talk of the Chiefs is when Travis Kelce went at the coach with a thump in the second quarter. The 49ers in the second quarter had a tremendous touchdown with a 3-play conversion between number 13 Quarterback and head of the San Francisco 49ers Brock Perdy next in that 3-way amazing touchdown is number 15 on the 49ers the loved wide receiver Jauan Jennings and the person with the name of the 3 way touchdown the person that made it into the zone number 23 running Back on the 49ers team Christian McCaffrey that made the touchdown.

While the league doesn't give a figure, some reports have put the cost of a set of team rings at $5 million or so. Lincoln Martone, a 6th grader at EJHS said this, “ Taylor Swift is bringing girls to football and boys to Taylor Swift Which in my opinion is bad because the girls coming to the NFL don't care about the NFL. All they care about is Swift." The Super Bowl was an exciting football game. The results were upsetting and a lot of people loved the outcome but either way, there's always next year to keep watching some more football games and enjoy the loving experience of this wonderful game.
