Purdue Vs. IU

Swish goes the net! Purdue scores and you don’t know if you should cheer or boo. The Boilermakers and Hoosiers have been rivals for what feels like forever. Both teams have their ups and downs, but it all comes down to how they perform in the game of basketball.
The two teams have played against each other several times in the past. Both times that the Boilermakers faced the Hoosiers in February 2023, they came up short. The score in their February 25th 2023 matchup ended with Purdue at 71 and IU at 79. Both teams fought hard as you can see from the close scoring, but in the end IU got the win for that matchup.
In one of Purdue’s most recent games they faced Penn State and came out on top with 95 points while Penn State scored 78. IU also came out with a win when they faced Minnesota, IU scored 74 points while Minnesota scored 62. Both teams had great games that ended with them on top.
They recently had their January 16th game at IU. Though both teams fought hard and made some great shots, it ended with the Boilermakers winning. The ending score was 87-66. One of Purdue’s best players, Zach Edey made 11 out of 12 free throws. One of IU’s best players, Trayce Jackson-Davis 25 points. But all in all every player involved in the game played hard and did great.
In conclusion the two rivals are both great teams, and have a great rivalry that they have to fight hard to try and come out on top. No matter which team you cheer for, you have a good reason, they both have some great players who fight hard at each game. Everyone is in for a great game next time these teams face.
