Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Have you ever read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone? Well if not Harry Potter is a book series with 7 books by J. K. Rowling and also a movie series with 8 movies. But this is about the first book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Warning there are spoilers in this article.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's or Philosopher's Stone is a very good book. The New York Times says, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, by J. K. Rowling, is a wonderful novel.” Also The Washington Post says, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone should make any one a very happy reader.” Well at the beginning of the book Harry is at his aunt and uncle’s house when someone comes to tell Harry that he is a wizard and is going to go to Hogwarts wizarding school. When Harry goes to school he rides a train there and on it he meets Ron Weasley. When he gets there he gets sorted into Gryffindor house with Ron at the start of the year feast. After that he starts classes and has to start finding his way around the school.
Harry eventually gets used to magic and makes friends with Hagrid the Hogwarts gamekeeper. But one night Harry and Ron get tricked by someone to go somewhere and go into a room with a three headed dog in it and almost get caught and punished. But later on Halloween at the Halloween feast a troll gets into the school and they are supposed to go back to their common rooms. But Harry and Ron realize that Hermione Granger is not with them and the rest of their house and go to help. When they save her they make good friends with Hermine. But at Christmas Harry gets an invisibility cloak and finds that it does not say who it was from and is curious.
The night Harry gets his cloak he goes to the restricted section of the library to look for someone that Hagrid mentioned on accident to them that has to do with what the three headed dog is guarding. He almost gets caught but doesn't and gets into a room with a magical mirror. Another night Harry and Hermione get caught out of bed at Hagrid’s cabin and get punished by having to go into the forbidden forest that has all sorts of magical creatures and monsters in it. Later on another day they figure out that what the three headed dog is guarding is a stone that gives eternal life and money to whoever has it. A little while later on another day they find that someone is trying to steal the stone and go to try and stop them. They have to pass many obstacles to get to them and Harry gets in to try and stop them and succeeds. After that the stone gets destroyed and the person who was trying to steal it is stopped. At the end of the year Harry rides the train back to his aunt and uncle’s house and stays there for the summer.
That is a summary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. “Overall,” Tatum Robertson says, “I think that it is a great book.” Harper Fleener also says, “I think it is a very good book.” If you haven’t ever read it you should definitely read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
