6th Grade Boys Basketball Tryouts

This article is all about the 6th grade boys basketball tryouts. Now you're probably thinking “well I'm not doing basketball.” Well just because you're not doing it doesn’t mean you can’t read about it. Or if you're not doing it maybe I can try to persuade you to go to the tryouts. So let's talk about the tryouts and when they are. So before the tryouts there are things called open gyms. Now open gyms are for the coaches to see what the people on the team are going to be like or to see how good they are.

The first open gym starts on November 7, 2022 and I’m going to go play and see what happens. I’m guessing that it will probably be like getting to know all the players and maybe getting to know the basics about basketball. But now the first open gym is canceled. Now there are only three open gyms left and the next one is November 14, 2022. This one will probably be a little practice and 

probably getting to know the players. The next one is November 21, 2022. I’m interested to see this one because it would probably be actually playing on teams. The next one after that is November 28, 2022. This one will probably be the same as the last one but a little harder. I have heard around school that Mr. Powell is the coach. Now I don't know a lot about Mr. Powell. Honestly, I don’t know anything about him, but I hope he is a good coach.

Now that we're done explaining the open gym, time to get to the actual tryouts. There are two tryouts, one on Wednesday and one and Friday. The one on Wednesday is November 30, 2022. The one on Friday is December 2, 2022. Now I'm going to the December 2nd one. I really hope that Mr. Powell isn’t a mean coach. Some coaches are really mean. Now I got a quote from Aiden Williamson after I asked him if he was nervous about the tryouts. This is what he said “No, because I think I have a good shot at it.” I also got another one from Peayton Murphy after I asked him if he was nervous for the tryouts,  “Yes, because I feel like I'm not going to make the team, and that there’s going to be better people than me.”

I was really hoping to go to the one on Monday. And like I said, I don't know why they canceled that one. So maybe if I didn’t get you to go to the tryouts I hope you at least liked the article and are going to tell your friends about it.
