Apple or Androids

Apple or Androids

by: Payton Baugh

Most people automatically say apple is better because it's a well-known brand and everyone says android is slow or that it's not as cool. I have never owned an Apple phone and can confidently say I never will own one. Apple is overrated and more expensive than Androids when they act almost the same if not better.

First of all, androids aren’t laggy unless you have a lot of games and apps, don't close your tabs, or don't delete the trash. If you get an app that cools your phone, cleans your, phone, and boosts your phone then it won't be as laggy. Apples can be just as laggy as android if you don't take care of them. Everyone who hasn't owned an android or used an android believes it's laggy because they just don't want to admit that they are practically the same.

Androids cost less just to do what a phone is intended to do, play games, take photos, looking up information, checking the weather, call, text, and use social media. iPhone might have ”cooler” text boxes but are you really buying a phone because of the color of the text boxes?  iPhones have 3 cameras and only one of them actually works. Android has different cameras that all have a purpose like, a long-focus camera, a color camera, and the monochrome camera these help take ultra wide shots and better detail.

If you want a cool design, color, or size then android is the way to go, they have the Google Pixel 6a, Samsung Galaxy A54, or the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. On the other end of the spectrum, you have high-end devices with all the bells and whistles, like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Google Pixel 7 Pro, or the OnePlus 11.

The iPhone has an annoying feature where if you are in a group chat with someone who has an android then you aren’t able to leave it. So say you have an iPhone and 2 of your friends have androids and they are being mean to you and you go to leave that chat but you can’t so you delete the group but as soon as someone in the group says something it pops back up. This is a design flaw that android doesn't have, if you delete a group it doesn't show up again and you’re able to leave any group with or without an iPhone user.

Over all android is more customizable, has more features, isn't laggy if you take care of it, and is cheaper. I suggest getting an android if you get the chance. Androids are very similar to the iPhone they both do the same thing, if your not counting the color of the text boxes, and android does it all and for less. I hope this changes your point of view and this is all in my opinion if you don't agree then that is fine.Â
