Setting up

• Accounts moved to a tree-view setup with four grouping levels. The Income Statement and Balance Sheet follow the order set up in the chart of Accounts.

• Status field added to Entry Types.

• Branch functionality added to Entry Types

• Numerous warnings have been added to highlight setting up errors in Accounting.

• A Period date has been added - all Accounting transactions are based on Period Date. Ageing is based on Transaction date.

Ledger

• Transactions changed to Header with Items to allow for grouped transactions, for example, one payment made for multiple expenses.

• Override a Transaction which is out of balance, for example, an Opening Balance Transaction.

• A Ledger ID field has been added - this is a unique key for each Entry Type.

• Improved audits with the addition of Date/User Created and Date/User Updated fields.

• Functions to Clear Overpayment and Discount Outstanding amounts on Invoices and Receipts.

• Recurring Transactions can now be used to reverse transactions.

• New Transaction View which displays the outstanding Invoices for the selected customer
