Using Self Service

Accessing self service

In the high school each student is issued a MacBook Air laptop. Students are unable to install any software on their devices or make any changes. However through the Self Service app students can install certain pre-approved software applications or run a program to make simple fixes/changes to their laptops.

To access Self Service just click on the Self Service icon in your dock at the bottom of the screen.

Installing Software

In Self Service, you can use the search box to find what you are looking for or look through the different cateregories under "Browse" to find the app you'd like to install.

Once you've located the app to install, just click the "Install" button and wait. When it's finished installing the button will change to "Reinstall/Update".

You can update your app at any time by reinstalling it. It will automatically install the latest version added to Self Service.
