Guardian Summaries from Google Classroom

Guardian Summaries provides parents/guardians with an email about their students detailing information such as missing work, upcoming assignments, as well as the text of every announcement, assignment, and question a teacher posts in Classroom. Please ask your teachers if they are enabling this feature. It is not required.

How do I stop parent summary emails:

• You can remove yourself as a student's guardian at anytime.

If you have a Google Account:

1. At the bottom of any email summary, click Settings.

2. Next to the student’s name, click Delete then Remove.

If you don't have a Google Account:

1. At the bottom of any email summary, click Unsubscribe.

2. Click Unsubscribe again to confirm that you want to permanently remove yourself as a guardian.

The student receives an email that you were removed from their account.
