The first step to connect to a Wi-Fi network with your Chromebook is seeing which open or password-protected networks exist nearby.

  • To view Wi-Fi networks, select the Wi-Fi network icon in the lower right corner of your Chromebook screen. In the pop-up window, select the Wi-Fi icon.

  • A Network window will open with a list of all available networks.

  • Select your home Wi-Fi network.

  • Select Connect if no password is required

  • If the Wi-Fi network requires a password, a network configuration window will appear. Please enter the network name, network security type, and/or the network password and Save.

  • This information will be saved for future use.

Most issues can be solved by restarting your device.
