Q1 Recognition

Presented to any faculty member who demonstrates exceptional performance in all areas of the classroom, including scholarship, professional development, mentoring, innovation, outstanding student feedback, course leader, and/or good PG Citizenship characteristics. The outstanding faculty member will have also provided meaningful service to their respective Department, School of General Education, and/or Purdue University Global.

Presented to PT faculty providing exceptional classroom facilitation and engages student learning by consistently creating a positive learning environment through supportive feedback, active and quality participation in discussion boards, seminars, and announcements, and overall promotes an educationally rich classroom experience for students. They may also stand apart in their contributions via scholarship and/or professional development at the department, school, and/or university levels.

Presented to FT and FTA faculty who consistently exceed faculty expectations in all areas of the classroom – providing exceptional classroom facilitation and an overall educationally rich classroom experience for students. They have embraced PG’s vision of putting student’s first, using innovative techniques that help ensure their success. They may also stand apart in their contributions via scholarship and/or professional development at the department, school, and/or university levels.

Presented to any faculty or staff member who provides exceptional internal service to their respective Department, SoGE, and/or PG (includes professional development, grants, etc.). They may also demonstrate substantial external service in conjunction with a professional membership or non-profit organization, or any other charitable or volunteer cause.
