Tom has worked at the University in various roles since 2010. In his current position he has been required to design and develop the visual interface for the Moodle VLE which all staff and students across the University use. Tom comes from a marketing and design background and has an MA in Marketing Digital Media. Through experience in both of those areas has added web development skills in PHP to his skillset in recent years through working on Moodle.

An advocate of sustainable web design Tom is keen to ensure that the code he contributes to projects is accessible, resilient, and uses industry standard practices rather than bespoke frameworks to achieve web development goals wherever possible.
