Learning and Teaching Innovation Team

Chris joined the TEL team in August 2022 after teaching Music Technology and Media Studies at Portsmouth College for nearly 12 years. He led the College’s 1:1 “creative and curious” iPad project, resulting in Portsmouth College becoming one of only two colleges in the UK to be recognised as an Apple Distinguished School. In 2019, he became an Apple Distinguished Educator – a recognition of how he continues to use Apple technology to transform teaching and learning, which has taken him all over the world. Chris is a published author and his books can be downloaded from the Apple Book store.

When not working, Chris can be found playing guitar (which he has done for over 22 years now!); taking his whippet “Twiggy” for a walk; paddleboarding; playing snooker or getting up at the crack of dawn to chase sunrises.

Chris joins us as an eLearning Support Analyst and brings to this role a variety of experience including staff training, project management, driving technology enhanced learning and creative thinking.
