Meet our TWCP Coordinator, Lynn!

Lynn is a non-binary trans woman who uses she/her pronouns, who moved to Portland from the Grand Teton National Park. After befriending all of the animals in the park, she is now pursuing an Art Practice Degree at PSU with a writing minor and a certificate in comic studies. She is currently in her first year at PSU, after transferring into the school.   Lynn is deeply interested in blurring the lines between so-called “high and low art,” community learning, and using her art practice as activism. Lynn’s dream is to spend her life uplifting other trans women while carving out a path unique to her through art and advocacy.  When not at PSU she can be seen spoiling her cat, exploring Portland with her spouse, and finding new weirdo queer art to love. Her hobbies include fencing, archery, zine making, and game design.

Support

Trans Resources & Retention Coordinator @ the QRC

The QRC's Trans Student Resources and Retention Coordinator (TReC) serves as the point person for resources and services for students who identify as trans, non-binary, gender-expansive, and/or questioning as well as students who are intersex. The TReC can assist with legal name overrides, name/pronoun advocacy, connecting students with other resources, and discuss navigating gender identity struggles and the university system.

If you are seeking resources and support, please use the Trans Resource and Retention Form or book an appointment by email at psutrans@pdx.edu to connect with the TReC so that they can assess your needs/interests and respond accordingly!

Current Events

PSU's Women's Resource Center works to advance social justice, ensure access to personal empowerment for students of all genders, and promotes work toward a safe and healthy campus. We recognize the wide scope of social inadequacies that exist globally and we understand the deep impact that the current COVID-19 pandemic has on everyone, particularly marginalized peoples. Here are some ways in which people are responding to the effects of the current pandemic and how they are exemplifying feminist values.
