Carrie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and they identify as xicanx, transmasc, queer, + non-binary. In 2020, Carrie graduated with an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree in Feminist Studies, with a concentration in Law, Politics, + Social Change, from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Outside of academia, Carrie enjoys reading queer, feminist, anti-racist, anti-colonial, and anti-capitalist theories, from the likes of bell hooks, Audre Lorde, Cherrie Moraga, Frantz Fanon, + Angela Davis. They are a huge fan of the TV show Futurama, the X-Men franchise, + CBS’s Survivor. They truly love anything pop culture! For astrology lovers out there, Carrie is an Aquarius sun, Pisces Moon, + Taurus Rising.

Programming Coordinators
Meet Gray, the Political Education and Action Coordinator (PEAC) at the PSU WRC. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Social Sciences, though their ultimate goal is to obtain a Master's in Art Therapy. Their passions include art (especially printmaking), studying social/collective justice and liberation, studying trauma-informed care, kayaking, gardening, and reading manga. You can usually find them listening to podcasts or video essays, drawing, and drinking matcha or chai boba.

Mariah is a transfer student from a small town in north-central Washington. It's her third year majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Psychology at PSU! It is also her second year with the WRC, and she hopes to grow and learn even more this year. When she is not working, she likes to spend her free time watching anime, crocheting, or spending time with her loved ones.
Madeleine is a Chicana first generation transfer student hailing from Santa Cruz, California. They enjoy listening to music, watching horror movies, and hanging out with their cat, Elrond. Madeleine’s favorite TV show is What We Do In The Shadows and is always down to chat about it if you encounter her in the wild!

Meet Vanessa Lara Diaz! She is a first year student working at the welcome desk! She is a queer Mexican American First Gen daughter! She was born in and raised in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. She is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Sociology! She really enjoys discussing about families and society as well as music!
Kazia is someone who enjoys the outdoors and travelling to past and new places! She absolutely loves cats and will most likely pet every stray cat she sees. She's a first-gen college student and she is grateful to the communities who have supported her throughout her journey. In the future, she will most likely be traveling across the globe, supporting communities, and sipping pretty lattes while she watches the moon rise.
Anay is a first-generation college student majoring in Public Health Studies: Pre-Clinical. She is a proud Chicana/Latina with roots in Jalisco, Mexico. She is a sophomore, and aspires to become a professional dentist. She loves the fall season. She also loves to drink coffee, hot chocolate, eat pan dulce, and watch horror movies.
