Feminist of Color Community Project

The Feminist of Color Community Project (FOCCP) is a project of the Women’s Resource Center that offers an identity-based affinity group for students at Portland State University. We center the lived experience of students of color and foster community through storytelling, connection, and exploring feminist possibilities. This work is done by deepening understandings of feminist practice, self-reflection and building relationships through shared identity and values.

FOCCP events are open to any and all genders. Feminism is not exclusive to any one gender identity, and this project emphasizes the possibility of gender liberation for all.

Please email wrc@pdx.edu to learn more on how to get involved with FOCCP.

2024 Feminist of Color Awards

8th Annual Feminist of Color Award Ceremony

Recognize and honor yourself and another student, staff, or faculty of color with a personalized award.

This event honors the achievements, lived experiences, brilliance, and resiliency of students, faculty, and staff of color at Portland State University.
