Student Employee Positions

Working at the Women's Resource Center is a wonderful opportunity to work on campus and experience student employment within a social justice-focused department. We have a tightly knit staff team and are looking for excellent team players who are eager to use their talents and learn new skills with us.

All of our student employees are also a part of our yearly Leadership Cohort. Over the course of the year you will engage in weekly workshops and group-based learning that will expand your knowledge of feminist issues as well as expand your ability to practice feminist leadership in and out of the WRC. In addition to participating in the cohort, student employees are an integral part of our overall work team and participate in staff meetings, individual supervision, and beginning- and end-of-year staff retreats.

The Women's Resource Center offers a dynamic and unique workplace.  We engage deeply in holistic leadership principles, and we support our students academically, socially, interpersonally, and professionally. We are a team who is always working to embody our shared values, learn from each other's distinct gifts, and share our talents as broadly as possible. Work at the WRC can be fast-paced, but it is rewarding, enriching, and excellent preparation for future work - in communities, in organizations, and in educational institutions. We are proud to offer above minimum wage hourly pay, and look forward to recruiting a talent pool of diverse students demonstrating a wide range of lived experiences to contribute to our team. We strongly encourage queer, trans, and POC folks to apply for any and all available positions. We will consider applications to multiple postings, however please be aware that each role is quite distinct and requires different levels of engagement and skills and so please tailor your responses to supplemental questions accordingly.

Read below for information on our student positions and how to apply. Applications open in late spring 2022
