Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Conservation Institute, Lucknow was the first conservation laboratory established in 1985 with the objective to conserve and preserve art objects. The Institute has trained and experienced conservators along with dedicated staff members and a well-equipped Conservation Laboratory, carrying out conservation of all types of heritage objects like manuscripts, sculptures, paintings on canvas, paper, wood, lithographs, archival materials including photographs, textiles, murals, ethnological objects, animal skins, stone, metal, etc. as well as wall paintings. 

The next visit to the Pattani family archival collection was by Mr. Vinod Kumar Tiwari, a senior restorer from INTACH Conservation Institute, Lucknow on 31st January 2021. 

He examined the different types of objects in the archival collection. He also surveyed the condition of the materials and the level of repairs required for long-term preservation. Mr. Tiwari also briefed Avni and the team on the in-house preservation measures to be carried out at regular intervals. It was followed by a detailed report for conservation of the collections at Pattani Archives.
