School Crisis Prevention and Intervention The PREPaRE curriculum has been developed by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as part of NASP's decade-long leadership in providing evidence-based resources and consultation related to school crisis prevention and response. PREPaRE training is ideal for schools committed to improving and strengthening their school safety and crisis management plans and emergency response. PREPaRE is featured in the Best Practices Registry of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center.

Intensive Interagency
Resolution of Cordero v. Commonwealth (1992) class action suit led to role of Interagency Coordination at PaTTAN and Intermediate Units, as well as monitoring of students with disabilities placed on Homebound and Instruction Conducted within the Home.
The Intensive Interagency (sometimes referred to as Cordero) process is aimed at providing assistance to students who are at substantial risk of waiting more than 30 days for an appropriate educational placement. In addition to assisting local education agencies with providing appropriate educational placements, the system of interagency coordination also works toward the goal of enhancing the capacity of school district programs so that the needs of students with disabilities can be met in public educational settings in most situations.
