There will be multiple opportunities for community service events throughout the 4 years at CTHS. I make it a goal to provide 100 hours during the 9th & 10th grade years.
To obtain a gold cord for graduation, students must report 100 community service hours with the counseling office. To receive the Vanguard Award, it requires 300 hours.
Once students have earned their hours, they will use a QR code on a form to keep a log of hours and obtain signatures no more than 12 days after the event. This form is turned in to the counseling office.
To be eligible for a letterman jacket, a Sophomore must have a minimum of 25 logged and recorded hours.
Here are some future set dates for some events scheduled at the Pine Brook Community just 15 minutes away from CTHS.
March Easter egg hunt from 9am - 12pm
