At Parkfield, we enable our children to become confident and resilient members of the community. We value the children's opinions and expect them to respect and be tolerant of others’ opinions. Through open and honest discussions, we allow children the freedom to ask questions in a respectful manner.
We encourage children to be responsible and active citizens of their community; including understanding, respecting and following the British Values: Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance and Individual Liberty.
We understand the importance of using PSHE to work in harmony with our school community and with children different ages. At Parkfield, we use PSHE to create networks between community groups. We are very proud to share work the children have done to increase understanding between these groups.
We use a range of activities such as drama, drawings and discussions to create effective and interactive lessons.
