Art

Through our Art Curriculum, we foster a love of all things creative. From EYFS to Year 6, our flexible and engaging curriculum allows children to learn art and develop a range of different skills; drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, print, textiles and digital media. We strive to provide all of the children at Parkfield Primary School with:

• exposure to all types of artists

• opportunities to create art of all different mediums 

• exposure to live art e.g trips to galleries

• exposure to art based vocabulary in order to share their opinions

• encourage to families to appreciate and celebrate the work their children do (e.g exhibitions)

• involvement  in art activities which engage our families in working together at home and reflect the children’s diverse cultural backgrounds
