The Future of Molecular Paleography
Copenhagen (Fuglsang Herregaard) 17/04/2024 - 20/04/2024
The "New Directions in Molecular Paleography Workshop" will occur over four days in a serene manor house located in the southern part of Denmark. The venue has been chosen for its tranquil environment, conducive to focused discussions and reflection.
This workshop will host up to 40 participants, due to the intimate size of the venue. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions and collaborative brainstorming sessions in a shared accommodation setting, which is expected to enhance the collaborative experience.
The primary objective of this gathering is to retrospectively assess the outcomes and challenges of the B2C project, and to strategize future directions for research and collaboration in the field of molecular paleography. The event aims to address the interdisciplinary nature of this field, acknowledging both the benefits and the complexities that arise from its intersection with various disciplines. A particular focus will be on the challenges related to long-term support for junior scholars in this area.
Further details of the workshop, including the agenda will be provided to the participants in due course. This event is designed to foster an environment of scholarly exchange and to facilitate the development of new ideas and collaborative ventures in the field of molecular paleography.
