Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week in Year 4, we explored Roman Britain, learning how the Romans invaded, what they introduced, and how their changes have influenced life today. The children were fascinated by the lasting impact of Roman roads, language, and architecture.
In Reading, we focused on developing inference skills while working through an explanation text about Julius Caesar, encouraging students to read between the lines and deepen their understanding.
In Maths, we investigated multiplication by 1 and 0, recognising patterns and building confidence in applying these rules to different problems.
During PE, we continued to develop our basketball skills, with a particular emphasis on communication and teamwork on the court.
Next week, it’s time for Paddock Wood Got Talent Year 4 auditions – get practicing! We can’t wait to see your amazing talents.
